The client asked for an unusual custom box with a telescoping lid to hold the the contents of the kit, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure, and a DVD inside a booklet containing information about the new series, the story line and the characters.

Given that the characters of the series make their home in the sewers of New York City, certain things did suggest themselves. The final kit featured an appropriately dark and grungy man hole cover with an embossed diamond plate pattern on top and an eerie green glow coming through the holes. The body of the kit was made from grey mottled styrofoam to imitate concrete reinforcing the concept. The chamber within the kit was lined with a florescent green paper giving a brilliant location for the promotional materials and creating a strong relationship between the inside and the art on the cover.

The result was a surprising and memorable promotional piece for the release of the newest series in the TMNT franchise.
